This Privacy Policy applies to the thedeaconphl.com and dyehouseri.com websites (“Sites”) operated by Deacon Hospitality Group LLC and its affiliates and subsidiaries (referred to herein as “the deacon”, “dye house”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and applies to information, products and services provided by us in the United States.

We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of individual-specific information (“Personal Information”) collected from and about our Site users (referred to as “you” or “your” in this Privacy Policy). This Privacy Policy describes what Personal Information we gather, how we use it and how you can correct, change and limit our use of it. It is our intention to give you as much control over your Personal Information as possible to preserve your privacy, while still allowing us to utilize that Personal Information to provide you a valuable service and hopefully to have you as a resident of one of our communities. In some instances, and in particular, if you are asked to submit registration details through this site, you may be requested to agree to additional terms regarding our use of your Personal Information, and those additional terms will apply in that context. Any additional terms will be provided for your review at the time of registration.

This Privacy Policy constitutes an integral part of our Site’s Terms of Use and is subject to the provisions thereof, including with respect to Limitation of Liability and governing law. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy before you send or share Personal Information with us or use our Site and to read it again when you return to it.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect Personal Information from our Sites in order to provide you with information on the products and services you have expressed an interest in to provide you with information on other similar products and services we believe will be of interest to you and to better understand how we can help prospective residents and employees.

The type of Personal Information we collect will depend upon what we will need in order to provide you with the particular product or service you are interested in.

USE OF IP ADDRESSES

An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the Internet. Web servers, the main computers that serve up web pages, automatically identify your computer by its IP address. As permitted under applicable law, we collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration, gathering and analyzing aggregated information, creating a better experience for users and auditing the use of our site.

We do not normally link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that your session will be logged, but you remain anonymous to us. We will seek to link your IP address when we feel it is necessary to protect this site and other users from harm and to prevent criminal misconduct. Please see the section on Use of “Cookies.”

USE OF “COOKIES”

Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to an individual for recordkeeping purposes. Cookies make web surfing easier for you by saving your preferences while you are at our site. The use of cookies is an industry standard, and as such, you will find them at most major websites. INFORMATION WE DISCLOSE?

As a general rule, we will not disclose Personal Information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe, in good faith, that the law requires our disclosure. We may also disclose Personal Information for business operations as described below.

We do not commercialize or share your Personal Information with third parties, unless: We limit access to Personal Information to employees who we believe reasonably need to receive such information to provide our services or in order to do their jobs, and we take the precautions we deem reasonable to protect the security of users’ Personal Information. We also work very hard to ensure that our employees are aware of the sensitivity of the data submitted to us and that they handle it with care, being careful not to allow any improper access by third parties. However, as in many computer systems, internet applications and software programs, unauthorized use, failure of hardware or software, etc. may be injurious to the confidentiality of users’ Personal Information.

We’re thrilled to have you as our guest. To provide the best experience for you, please review the following guidelines.

Reservations: Reservations are held with a credit card and charged 100% of the reservation at time of booking. Credit cards are the only accepted form of payment. Guests must be 21 and older.

*Check in: 4pm | Check out: 11am | *If early or late check out is needed, reach out to us directly.

*Sorry, we do not offer daily housekeeping. Please respect the space and leave the suite reasonably clean upon check out. If the suite is left in poor condition, we will collect additional cleaning fees.

Check Out: We are a small boutique hotel; timely checkouts are vital to our operation. Unauthorized late checkouts incur a $200 violation fee.

Quiet Hours: We ask that all guests be respectful of our quiet hours from 9:00pm – 7:00am. Please be considerate of other guests in suites and our neighbors. Any complaint made by another guest or a neighbor may result in immediate eviction and a fine of $300 if the problem persists.

Cancellations: 50% of prepayments are refundable when canceled 7 days before arrival or earlier. 0% refundable if canceled after. No exceptions will be made for weather, and there are no refunds for shortened stays or early departures. Because of our size, cancellations affect us significantly. We hope you can understand our strict policy.

Minimum Stay Requirements: We have a 2 night minimum on weekends.

Room Occupancy: Guests must maintain a maximum of two overnight guests per suite. Children are permitted as “extra” guests in the room under the age of five, and we do offer the option for a pack-and-play. Dye House enforces a strict No Party Policy for the comfort and security of all hotel guests. Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time. Should guests violate this policy, a violation will result in immediate eviction from the hotel without refund and/or a violation fee.

Entry into Dye House: Guests access the building through the main entrance located on 46 Dike Street. You should receive a text from ButterflyMX. This will be your virtual key to access the building during your stay. Click on the link to open your Virtual Key and bring up the QR code to scan at the entrance. To the right of our front door you will see a screen/access panel. Press Virtual Key and hold the QR code up to the screen.

Access to your Suite: To access your suite: use the 4 digit code provided in your welcome email. The door will automatically lock behind you.

Pet Policy: NO PETS ALLOWED IN THE LOFT! For all other Suites, pets are welcome under 50lbs. Heavier pets require approval. Pets must be kept on a leash when in the hotel or on hotel property unless in the guest's suite. Pets must not be left unattended and any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on hotel property and in the neighborhood. Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners and its operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest's pet.

Parking: 24 hour parking is onsite. One parking spot allotted for The Loft, Weft and Heddle suites right outside the main entrance. For Twill, the parking spot is located behind the fence (first spot off Dike St.). Visitors may park on Dike street and Troy street

Minibar: We have a wonderful assortment of food and beverage items in our suites. If you'd like to purchase, scan the QR code on the menu, purchase and enjoy! If food or beverages are found to be taken and not purchased, you will be charged automatically for the missing items.

Retail Shop/Pantry: We have a retail shop in our lobby featuring some of our favorite local artists and makers. There are directions on how to shop or use the link to browse and shop online.

Trash: Please place garbage in appropriate trash receptacles in the suite, You can place trash into our bins located along the side of our property facing Wes’ Rib House (Green Cans Marked Dye House). Please recycle when possible.

Smoking: Dye House is a non-smoking hotel. Therefore, smoking is not allowed in any private suites or public areas. A smoking cleaning fee of $300 will be assessed in the event smoking does occur in the guest rooms.

Missing or Damaged Property: Each suite is carefully curated and inspected prior to guest arrival and upon check out. Should the Dye House Team find any items missing and/or damaged in the suite after guest checkout, the cost of repair and/or replacement will be charged to the guest’s credit card on file. Such damage would include the cost of cleaning textiles if the guest smokes in a room, damage to furniture, rugs, walls, fixtures and bedding; and/or replacing missing items such as towels, furnishings, kitchenware, books, décor, etc.

Security Surveillance: There is 24/7 monitored security surveillance in the common areas and exterior of the property for our guest safety and security.

Furniture: Furniture is not to be moved; unless pre-authorized Dye House Team

Coffee Bar: We have coffee available for your use in The Studio. We partnered with Fellow and a local roastery BOLT. Click for instructions on how to use the Fellow Stagg Pour Over Kit in your rooms (excluding Twill).

Invisible Service: Providence has an amazing culinary scene and the west end has some of the best in town. Check out our locals we love and map for great places to enjoy. If you find yourself craving something late night or want to enjoy food in your room we encourage our guests to use GoPuff and Uber Eats for food delivery and incidentals. They are quick and easy options in Providence and will deliver to Dye House.

TV: Smart TVs are located in each room and guests are encouraged to use their own accounts to access shows and movies.

Air Conditioning/Heating: Air conditioning and heating is controlled by a thermostat mounted on the wall by the entrance of each suite. Adjust the temperature to your desired setting using the up or down arrows.

Bathroom Items: In each bathroom, we have Malin + Goetz products, vanity kit, blow dryer and first aid kit.

You may request a return within 14 days of fulfillment. Some orders may be eligible for an exchange only. All returned items must be sent back in the condition they were received to avoid a restocking fee. Items must be unworn and unused in order to get a refund.  Please contact us within 7 days of fulfillment if you received a damaged item.
